Boston (dbTechno) - According to a new survey carried out by researchers in the U.S., the best sex lasts between 7 and 13 minutes. This goes against the long male belief that with sex, the longer you last, the better it is.
The research was led by Dr. Eric Corty of the Behrend College in Pennsylvania.
The study took a closer look at what the best length of time is for the optimal sexual experience for both partners.
The survey was done with a random sample of Americans and Canadians.
It found that sex which lasts 7 to 13 minutes was best. Sex lasting anywhere from 3 to 7 minutes was listed as “adequate.”
Those surveyed stated that sex lasting anything under 3 minutes was too short. Likewise, anything lasting longer than 13 minutes was too long.
The study is published in the International Journal of Sexual Medicine.
